Come and Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday in Ohio!
Start your day at Heini’s Cheese with over 20 varieties of locally made cheese, featuring their famous yogurt cheese! Enjoy many other popular choices including baby Swiss, Colby, cheddar, pepper jack and their signature dessert, cream cheese fudge varieties!
Depart for Hershberger Bakery & Farmers Market! This is the largest Amish family owned bakery with three generations helping out! You will find a full line of baked goods, also locally grown produce (in season). Walk out to the petting zoo where you will get to pet Big King (the largest registered Belgium horse in Ohio). You will enjoy shopping at the farm store where they have many locally made items.
Lunch is TBA - either Der Dutchman or Farmstead, and it will be a buffet! (L)
Depart for the Amish Country Theater to see Dave Banks Big Band USO Show “America Remembers!” Enjoy over 7 decades of live big band orchestra, and singers showcasing the USO Style shows during wartime years along with a special salute to our Veterans!
Stop at Walnut Creek Cheese, the largest bulk food store in the area, before departing for Pittsburgh.
