Travel to Ashtabula, Ohio for a fun day! Begin your morning strolling through this beautiful town. Stop at Barbor Perk, a quaint coffee house and enjoy a cup of specialty coffee and a handmade muffin
Next you will visit the brand new Smolen-Gulf Covered Bridge. This bridge is the longest covered bridge in the United States and came with an Eight Million Dollar price tag!
Lunch will be a Ferrante Winery and Ristorante. They are tucked into the heart of the vineyards, and offer a luscious contemporary oak-laden atmosphere. The Ferrante Family has been selling wine since 1937 when Anna and Nicholas Ferrante opened their first winery in Cleveland’s Collinwood area. Enjoy 3 wine tastings before a delicious lunch.
Enjoy a quick stop at Better ‘n’ Bulk for all those hard to find items before seeing the Mechanicsville Covered Bridges.
Your last stop of the day will be Robinson Apple Barn. This family owned farm market offers a “healthy food for hungry people”. You can purchase one of Mrs. Robinson’s famous pies right out of the oven! Their farm market is stocked full of fresh fruits and vegetables in season!
