Day 1
Travel to Berlin, Ohio where you will meet your guide for the day. Enjoy the beautiful scenery, delicious cuisine, and warm hospitality the Amish are known for! Holmes County, Ohio is home to the world’s largest community of plain people. The beautiful farmlands, delectable baked goods, and handmade arts and crafts, draw visitors from around the globe to experience a unique, fun, and delicious adventure!
You will have a guided tour of the Behalt Amish & Mennonite Information Center. This is a must see when you in the area. There is a fabulous circular mural 260 x 10 feet, and you will learn a lot about the local culture. There is a film on the lifestyle of the local people and free time to browse the gift shop.
There will be time for a backroads tour where your guide, who was born and raised in the area will be with you sharing a lot about the Amish and Mennonite culture.
Enjoy a family style feast in an Amish Home for lunch. You will also learn how they live without modern technology.
Located in downtown Sugarcreek, also known as “The Little Switzerland of Ohio”, is the worlds largest Cuckoo Clock! Every 30 minutes a whole band comes out to play Bavarian music. This is a great photo opportunity! Enjoy the local shops as well!
Stop by the Alpine Hills Museum, which is within walking distance from the clock.
The next stop will be at the Swiss Village Bulk Food Store, which is a one of a kind bulk food store with samples out. You can also purchase specialty items and so much more!
The final stop will be at Breitenbach Winery. They make their own wines and have won many awards! You will pay for your own wine samples here before departing for home.

One-Day - Cancellation and Refund Policy: 30 days prior to departure - Full refund less any non-refundable charges (i.e. theater tickets, service fees, etc.) unless notification of difference is noted on tour description.
NO REFUND after 29 days prior to departure.

Walking Code 3 - This tour includes moderate physical activity. The itinerary blends some longer days with shorter days and more leisure time. Walking tours, as well as walking slightly longer distances, climbing stairs or walking over uneven terrain should be expected.
