Day 1:
You will travel to Fremont, Ohio to make and take Pottery that is “USA” themed at Pottery Perfection! Stop at the Hayes Presidential Library and Museum in Sandusky, Ohio, for a house tour of Spiegel Grover, home of the first Presidential Library. There will be a nice upscale luncheon at the Historic Strand Theatre. The Strand Theatre, is a movie theater located in downtown Delaware, Ohio, near the campus of Ohio Wesleyan University. Opened on April 10, 1916, The Strand is the tenth longest operating movie theater in the United States. There will be a stop at Jaws with Paws before departing for your hotel in Dearborn, Michigan. Dinner will be on your own at the hotel.
B, LDay 2:
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before going to The Ford Rouge Factory Tour. The Ford Rouge Factory Tour is an experience housed within Ford Motor Company's Dearborn Truck Plant in partnership with The Henry Ford and the United Auto Workers union. There will be a light lunch before going to the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation.
Put yourself in the place of the movers and shakers who blazed the trail to where we stand today.
Have dinner and a tour of the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House before going back to your hotel. Edsel Ford was the only child of Henry Ford.
Day 3:
Enjoy breakfast before checking out of your hotel. You will go to Greenfield Village and have lunch on your own. Here, 300 years of American perseverance serve as a living reminder that anything is possible. Step foot in the lab where Thomas Edison had his lightbulb moment or the workshop where the Wright brothers taught us to reach for the sky. Take a ride in a real Model T, or a walk through four working farms. You will depart for home in the afternoon with a dinner stop before arriving home. What a great three days!
