Day 1

Travel to Bowling Green, KY for an overnight.

Day 2

Tour the Battle of Franklin: Carter House, Carnton, and Rippa Villa. Stop on the Natchez Trace Parkway at the War of 1812 Memorial on the way to your overnight in Southaven, MS.

Take a guided tour of the Vicksburg National Military Park before staying two nights in Natchez, MS.

Enjoy a guided tour of Natchez, this morning then visit Rosalie Mansion and Frogmore Plantation this afternoon.

Enjoy a Cajun Pride Swamp Tour and a visit to Oak Alley Plantation on your way to New Orleans, LA, for a two night stay in the French Quarter. End the day with an outdoor sound and light show, Expressions of America, at the WWII Museum.

Start your day with a guided walking tour of the French Quarter. This afternoon, explore the WWII Museum in greater detail. Free time in the French Quarter this evening.

Enjoy a Jazz Brunch this morning before a visit to the Chalmette Battlefield, site of the Battle of New Orleans in 1815. You will have a dinner and tour of Elvis Presley’s Birthplace this evening. Overnight in Tupelo, MS.

Visit President James K. Polk’s Home and Museum before a dinner show at the Nashville Nightlife Theater. Spend two nights in Nashville, TN.

Visit Andrew Jackson’s Home, The Hermitage before stopping at Fort Negley Visitors Center and Park, a fortification built by Union troops after the capture of Nashville during the Civil War.

Today, you will stop at the Perryville Battlefield State Historic Site, one of the most unaltered Civil War sites in the nation. Enjoy a dinner cruise this evening on the BB Riverboat. Overnight in Newport, KY.

Insurance: Travel insurance is optional.
