Travel to North Canton to see the MAPS Air Museum. The MAPS Air Museum (Military Aviation Preservation Society) is an internationally known museum of aviation and serves as a center of that history in Northeast Ohio. The Museum features over 55 types of aircraft dating from the one of a kind 1908 Martin Glider to an F-16 Fighting Falcon and a C130 Hercules. MAPS has over 130 displays of acquired historical artifacts and interactive exhibits.
The museum is also a War Memorial as within our Gallery of Heroes there is a relic of the battleship USS Arizona from the attack on Pearl Harbor in December 1941.
Next you will enjoy a family style lunch at La Pizzeria Restaurant, who are famous for delicious authentic Italian food.

Finally you will meet your guide for the afternoon at Portage Princess Cruises. Enjoy a two hour, narrated scenic tour on Portage Lakes. Captain Jude is enthusiastic about sharing the history and the beauty of the Portage Lakes with group! Comprised of nine main lakes and two reservoirs, the community’s story begins with the native American Indians who called this area home. Today, the area is home to many who couldn’t imagine life without the waters in their backyards.
