Travel to Columbiana, Ohio for a fruitful brown bag tour! There will be plenty of shopping time at Das Dutch Cupboard Shop! This bulk store offers a wide variety of old fashion and hard to find favorites. Receive a Bag of Sweet Temptations before departing for Catalpa Grove Market. There are lots of goodies here with a mixture of apples and other seasonal fruits as well as good old fashion baked goods. You will receive a sweet treat for you bag as well!
Lunch will be at the famous Spread Eagle Tavern. You will love this restored federal-style three story building, built in 1837. Each room is decorated in period furnishings. There will be time for a self-guided tour of Spread Eagle!
Next stop is at White House Fruit Farm! This is one of the largest farm markets in the state of Ohio! The family has been growing fruits and vegetables for over 90 years. The first thing you will notice is the smell of cookies, and pies. They are known for their wonderful blueberry doughnuts. You will receive a drink and doughnut for your bag.
The final stop of the day is the Winery at Pine Lake. Here you will enjoy 3 (three) wine tastings at this beautiful winery and learn about how this family owned winery operates. There will be many different wines available for purchase before departing for Pittsburgh.
