You will take a one-hour horse drawn wagon ride through The Farm at Walnut Creek. You will have a chance to feed over 400 exotic animals! There will be plenty of time to walk to the big farmhouse and visit with the Amish Women and have a fresh baked cookie!
Lunch will be a family style feast in an Amish Home where you will learn more about how they live without all the modern technology that we use.
Next stop will be at an Amish owned greenhouse - Blessing Acres! You will have a chance to purchase locally grown produce!
Fresh apple cider is made at Hillcrest Orchard. You may purchase fresh apples and other fresh produce here as well!
The final stop of the day is at Walnut Creek Cheese, which is the largest bulk food store in the area. This is a great place to buy spices in bulk, fresh meats, and cheese. They have an inhouse bakery that specializes in cinnamon rolls! The Amish love to shop here for all their grocery needs! (L)
